The Exhibition Lands will be developed by the City of Edmonton in conjunction with qualified private industry development partners. The City of Edmonton will take the lead on creating the infrastructure necessary for our development partners to deliver on the vision for the neighbourhood in a market driven manner.
On January 17, 2024 Executive Committee approved the sale of the first parcels of redevelopment land at the Exhibition Lands. These two parcels of land make up roughly 20 acres of ground oriented development land that will kick off Phase One of the Exhibition Lands community redevelopment.
Read more...During the week of October 9, 2023, demolition crews mobilized to begin the first phase of structural demolition of the Main Barns at the Exhibition Lands. The work is scheduled to continue through December and is the first step in the necessary removal of buildings and structures on the Exhibition Lands site that are no longer in use.
